All Children staying for the full day program must rest for approximately one to one and a half hours. The state requires nap time for NJ state licensed centers. During nap time the teacher in charge will encourage resting, and often soft background music is played. Each child enrolled at DaySpring has his/her own labeled mat. Parents are required to purchase a duffel bag from the center. They are also to provide a child-sized sleeping bag or a fitted crib sheet, blanket and small pillow for the mat.
