Responsive & Interactive

At breakfast today, my son (who usually likes to talk about dinosaurs and construction vehicles) was talking about how excited he is for his Excellent Explorers class and how much he loves Mrs. Sea. At the start of September, he was dreading school and learning (virtual or otherwise) and he is now the complete opposite - he loves virtual school, he loves learning. Mrs. Sea has instilled in him a view of seeing learning in everything. He sees an orange and its suddenly a circle. He sees a number and all of a sudden its a temperature or an addition problem. He loves seeing his classmates and he absolutely ADORES Mrs. Sea.  My mom, who usually sits with him for the class (my husband and I join him when we can) was also raving about how wonderful Mrs. Sea is and how much our son is learning.

I find the best feedback to be unsolicited. I'd be remiss not to say thank you and to say that I wish the world had more teachers like Mrs. Sea.  We as a family love sitting in her virtual classes because we are immediately transported into a magical world of learning.  She is extremely prepared (a ton of lesson oriented videos, songs, games, science experiments, activities are always loaded and ready to go) and her lesson plans are extremely thoughtful to bring the kids along with her into fun and an interesting way to learn.  Even things like writing alphabets or numbers become interesting.  Her methods have instilled such a love for learning that I know that our son is now so prepared for Kindergarten and has even grasped complex concepts that my 2nd grader didn't know until much later on.

She is thoughtful to address and know every child. She knows that Eric loves humor and allows him to teach the kids a silly face as a goodbye greeting, she knows that Kat loves to make cat ears, and that Jonathan loves math! How she has managed to learn so much about them virtually in a few hours- I truly believe this is God's gift to her and us.  Her relationship to the kids also fosters an environment that the kids virtually learning feel part of a community, Jonathan says his best friends are those in the class and he's never met them in person. :)

She truly radiates the love of God and she is an answer to our prayers.  We wanted Jonathan to love learning, build social skills, to look forward to school, and find his gifting. Mrs. Sea has truly been God's gift to us- we will always be grateful for her kindness, love and passion for teaching. We have and will continue to send our friends to Dayspring and especially the Excellent Explorers class with Mrs. Sea.  Thank you for allowing her gifts to be shared!

Professional, Caring and Patient

We would like to convey our most sincere appreciation to DaySpring Childcare Center and the kindest staffs who are providing such great environment and education for our child.

We immigrated from China and our child's first language is Mandarin. It is the language we speak at home. So, his English skills became quite a concern for us. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are being extra cautious about sending him to school. He gets less opportunity to have contact with other children and to practice English. It is such a blessing that Dayspring offered us online classes, so we could get to know Mrs. Sea. Special thanks to this great lady! Because of her professionalism, care and patience, our child started speaking English and he is improving extremely fast as he takes Mrs. Sea’s class every morning in the past months. He can now have conversations in English and think more logically. Every day he brings us many surprises and every time he impresses us, he would always mention “Mrs. Sea said…”, this would bring us a lot of joy during this difficult situation.

We will be moving to a different state soon and our son was down when he heard this news, until we told him that we will continue attending class with Mrs. Sea, he smiled right away. Thank you Dayspring, for providing such great staff and education! Please keep up your great work and stay safe!

Pedagogical Expertise and Dedication

I convey my gratitude to all staff members of Dayspring Child Care for your hard work and dedication during this hard time. It’s easy to imagine how hard it could be for you to keep running this daycare at this hard time.

I also want to specially thank Mrs. Sea (Mrs. Chen-Alloy), my daughter’s teacher, for the fantastic job she has done. My family and I really appreciate her excellent and professional work.

When I received a phone call from Mrs. Sarah last summer informing me that an on-line class will be held, I felt very happy because I knew my daughter had enjoyed her stay with Mrs. Robin’s class, though only three months long because of the pandemic. So I did not hesitate to register her. Until now, it has been almost half a year and I just can’t deny how rightful my decision was.

My daughter enjoys Mrs. Sea's classes, which are well prepared every time. From the laughing and happiness during each session, I can tell that my daughter and her classmates enjoyed their class so much. The contents of the class not only include so many fun facts, interesting stories, and beautiful colorings, music and videos, but also the necessary knowledge that the kids of their age should learn. Kathy just stays in front of the screen from the beginning to the end of the session. She also received some cute presents from Mrs. Sea which she loves so much. Thanks for Mrs. Sea’s class, her time spent in Dayspring is full of joy and happiness. We once again thank Mrs. Sea for her dedication and expertise in pedagogy.

When I heard a job opportunity in the US, I did not hesitate to apply because I admire the greatness of this country. When I came here, I felt the true kindness to me and to my family, from the people of this country which make this country great. I might not stay forever here, but my stay here will definitely deeply impress the rest of my life.
